FIITA: Easter Bunny

A few weeks ago, I came across this colored photograph in the Estella Kile collection at the Dayton Metro Library, and I made a mental note to scan and post it close to Easter time. So…mental note accomplished:
Easter Bunny

Easter Bunny

And for those of you who may not celebrate Easter, just think of it as a cute bunny nestled among a pile of whimsically colored eggs.

I was not familiar with the Estella Kile collection previously. Estella Kile was a photographer and artist in Dayton in the early 1900s. There were several photographs of animals and pets (some including their presumed owners), as well as many photographs of people. Estella Kile was the sister of Alice Kile Neibel, who was a librarian at the Dayton library in the early 1900s.

Enjoy the cute bunny, and happy Easter!
